Colonial River Wealth Management, LLC. , a growing wealth management firm, is seeking an Operations Associate to assist us in our mission of helping clients achieve their financial goals. This is your chance to play a key role in the future success of our fast-growing organization!
Our mission at Colonial River Wealth Management is to navigate our clients through consultative wealth management and retirement planning. The First Impressions Receptionist plays a pivotal role in attracting and retaining clients. Description The Operations Associate plays a critical role in the back-office functioning of our firm. With responsibility for the day-to-day operational duties of the firm, the Operations Associate helps keep the office running smoothly and ensures that all client paperwork and processing is handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Responsibilities & Activities
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency, process new accounts, execute account transfers
- Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and improve operational performance.
- Processes new contributions and redemptions, process beneficiary changes.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of new systems and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and partners.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred from an accredited institution
- Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
- 1-3 years of experience in operations or administrative roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of investment principles is a plus.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Salary is commensurate with experience
- Interest in and knowledge of financial markets and investment securities
- Helpful: Previous securities industry experience
