Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for an SDET to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SDET to join our team. This role is ideal for a testing professional with deep expertise in end-to-end testing across complex systems, test automation, and Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will lead testing efforts for major enterprise initiatives, leveraging modern tools and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. Prior experience and familiarity with Multifamily technology are essential.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Extensive experience in end-to-end testing across integrated systems.
. Strong proficiency in test automation using: Karate for API and service testing Selenium (Java) for UI automation Rest Assured and Postman for RESTful service validation
. Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, S3, Lambda, etc.) for cloud-based testing.
. Expertise in Test Data Management frameworks for creating and managing test scenarios.
. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
. Ability to lead testing efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.
. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
. Experience mentoring junior SDETs and QA engineers.
. Preferred: Familiarity with performance testing tools, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or GitLab.
. Relevant certifications in software testing or cloud technologies are a plus.
. 5+ years of relevant experience

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.​

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,700.00 - $121,900.00.
