MFG MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Our company is renowned for its precision and attention to detail, and we are looking for a professional who shares these values. In this role, you will utilize your skills and expertise to maintain the optimal functioning of our machinery and equipment. You will work with a variety of tools and systems, including manual and CNC lathes and mills, and pipe and electrical systems. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment, adhering to specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments in the course of work.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Initiate requisitions for repair/replacement parts and maintain data and inventory reports in computer database.
Qualifications
- Experience with manual & CNC lathes and mills, and pipe and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments.
- Ability to follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
- Experience in maintaining data and inventory reports in computer database.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive blueprint reading ability.
- Experience with measuring tools and hydraulic systems.
- Background and experience in assembly and repair of mechanical equipment and/or machinery.
- Electric/electronic experience and knowledge preferred.
