Catering Events Crew Member
Historians trace the harvest of coffee beans to the surrounding countries of Yemen, but most agree that it was Yemenites who first brewed it to drink. Qamaria Coffee offers traditional Yemeni coffee and tea beverages to the masses.
We’re looking for a reliable and self-motivated team member to join our catering events crew! This position is event-based and primarily takes place on weekends.
Location: Events across the DMV area; equipment and prep based out of Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Transport and set up catering equipment (must be able to lift and move gear)
- Prep traditional drinks in the kitchen (training provided)
- Serve espresso and traditional drinks at events
- Deliver coffee and pastry orders
- Pick up and drop off equipment as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to lift and move equipment
- Must be available weekends and on-call based on event bookings
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Coffee experience (barista or café experience a plus)
