Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Stephens City, VA, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with appropriate credentials to support student communication needs throughout the academic year on a contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences by providing specialized speech and language therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with students communication goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district policies and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • State licensure or certification as an SLP, with credentials applicable to school settings.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in diverse school environments.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills in speech and language disorders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for working collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
