- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest nutritional science
- Promote nutrition policies and programs

- Conducting nutrition assessments

- Providing food shopping guidance
- Educating on food allergies and intolerances
- Managing weight loss or gain
- Improving dietary habits for chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, heart disease)
