Job Description
Assist in preparing and filing all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forms related to Foreign Trade Zones. These forms and reports are for US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and FTZ. Ensure that they are timely, complete, and accurate.
Handle data entry into FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping system.
Track and report on inbound shipments; process outbound shipments; prepare in-transit entries (in-bond) and or permit-to-transfers with CBP.
Report issues to other departments impacted by inbound and outbound activity of the FTZ.
File documentation to fulfill FTZ and Import-Export recordkeeping as mandated by US Dept of Commerce and US Customs.
Communicate with third-party transport providers and LEGO suppliers on orders coming into and out of the LEGO Virginia FTZ.
Support the department audits of transactions and processes.
Daily responsibility to identify, guide and act upon risks until they are mitigated.
Raise as needed to Sr. Import/Export Manager.
Be ready to act as back up in other positions in the department to ensure that operations are continuous.

The Import/Export Department is responsible for timely delivery of shipments and customs documents. It ensures the right place, appropriate cost, and adherence to US and local regulations at Colonial Heights/Chester, Virginia Manufacturing Site. This supports the company’s overall strategy. This position leads all aspects of the successful operation of the US Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and long-term Import/Export Trade compliance for Colonial Heights/Chester, Virginia.
Travel
Ability to travel 10% globally.
Do you what it takes?
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business / supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in Logistics, Warehouse, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain.
Proficient experience in consumer-packaged goods, plus digital content marketing is preferred.
Experience with reviewing inventory, inventory control and cycle counts.
Knowledge of import/export processes and requirements, US Customs, and domestic and international transportation flows highly preferred.
Experience with SAP or other enterprise systems preferred.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $76,283.00 - $114,425.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
