ComSonics is looking for a Fiber Repair Technician to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll diagnose, test, repair, and maintain electronic equipment while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to quality, innovation, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs all operations necessary in the diagnoses and/or repair of Fiber Optic equipment. This includes:

• Checks equipment thoroughly and confirms proper operation to OEM specifications.
• Installs all types of connectors onto existing fiber and new optical devices.
• Proficiently uses various test equipment, hand tools and soldering techniques.
• Fosters positivity through teamwork and communication.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 years electrical experience.
• Minimum 1 year of surface mount and fiber experience required.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Base Salary Range: $19.28 - $26.01 per hour.

This salary range represents the compensation ComSonics reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting and has been established in good faith based on current market data, internal pay practices, and applicable laws.

Final compensation will be determined within this range based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs. Offers are typically aligned within the lower to mid-range of the salary band, depending on experience and alignment with role requirements.

Incentive Compensation:

• Positions not eligible for commission may be eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Bonus opportunities are based on role level and are subject to individual and company performance. Any bonus is not guaranteed and is governed by the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

• Positions eligible for commission participate in a commission-based compensation plan. Commission earnings are based on individual performance and applicable sales plans. Actual earnings may vary and are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable commission plan.
