Director Leigheas Center
Job Description
Job Description
About Leigheas Center
Leigheas (Gaelic for “healing”) Center is a faith-informed residential wellness campus devoted to recovery from treatment-resistant depression and related conditions. At the heart of our clinical model is the SAINT protocol — an FDA-cleared, accelerated form of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) that delivers a full course of neuromodulation therapy in days rather than weeks. We pair this leading-edge neuroscience with residential care, spiritual support, and whole-person restoration in a setting designed for dignity, rest, and renewal.
We are seeking a Director to lead the Center through launch and growth — someone who can hold clinical excellence and compassionate, faith-informed care in the same hands.
The Role
The Director is the senior executive responsible for the Center’s clinical quality, operations, mission, people, and finances. You will translate our vision into a safe, excellent, and financially sustainable program, and ensure every resident experiences both measurable clinical results and genuine care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Program Leadership
• Partner with the Medical Director and clinical team to ensure SAINT/TMS protocols are delivered safely, to fidelity, and with measurable outcomes
• Oversee resident intake, assessment, treatment planning, care coordination, and aftercare/step-down pathways
• Establish outcomes measurement and a continuous quality-improvement program
Operations
• Run day-to-day campus operations: residential services, scheduling, facilities, safety, food, and hospitality
• Build and maintain policies, SOPs, and emergency/clinical-escalation procedures
People & Culture
• Recruit, develop, and lead a multidisciplinary team — psychiatry, nursing, TMS technicians, therapists, chaplaincy/spiritual care, hospitality, and administration
• Cultivate a culture aligned with the Center’s mission and values
Mission & Spiritual Care
• Integrate faith-informed care throughout the resident experience in coordination with chaplaincy/spiritual care staff
• Steward the mission with residents, families, staff, donors, and partners
Finance & Administration
• Own the operating budget and P manage census, payor/private-pay mix, and cost discipline
• Partner with the board and development team on fundraising, donor relations, and grants
Compliance & Risk
• Ensure compliance with state behavioral-health licensing, HIPAA, FDA/device requirements for TMS, and applicable accreditation standards
• Manage clinical risk, documentation, and incident response
Growth & Partnerships
• Develop referral relationships with psychiatrists, health systems, churches/ministries, and employers/EAPs
• Represent the Center to the community and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Required
• 7+ years of progressive leadership in behavioral health, residential treatment, or a related healthcare setting, including direct P&L or operational ownership
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (MHA, MBA, MSN, MSW, PsyD/PhD, MD/DO) or equivalent experience
• Track record leading multidisciplinary clinical teams and meeting quality, safety, and financial targets
• Working knowledge of behavioral-health regulation, licensing, and HIPAA
• Sincere alignment with — and ability to lead — a faith-informed mission
Preferred
• Familiarity with TMS/neuromodulation and accelerated protocols such as SAINT
• Experience opening or scaling a new facility or program
• Background in donor relations, fundraising, or nonprofit governance
• Active clinical licensure (RN, LCSW, psychologist, physician)
What We’re Looking For
• A servant-leader who pairs operational rigor with genuine compassion
• Calm and sound judgment under pressure, especially in clinical-risk situations
• A clear communicator and culture-builder
• Mission-driven and outcomes-focused
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, performance incentive, health benefits, and relocation assistance as applicable.
