Job Title: Utility Worker

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (No weekends)

Guarantee: 40 hours per week

Key Duties

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and floor maintenance to keep the environment safe and professional.
• Receiving Deliveries: Manage the receiving area by unloading trucks, checking in orders, and organizing stock.
• Physical Labor: Handle heavy lifting (50+ lbs) regularly to move equipment, supplies, and waste.
• Waste Management: Ensure all trash and recycling are removed promptly and disposal areas are kept clean.
• Facility Support: Support the team by setting up or breaking down work areas and helping with general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications

• Physical Strength: Must be able to consistently lift and carry 50+ pounds. This role requires significant standing, bending, and manual labor.
• Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality. You must be able to commit to the 8:30 AM–3:45 PM schedule every day.
• Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and independently to stay ahead of the daily "rush."
• Team Mindset: A proactive attitude and the willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Experience: Prior experience in janitorial work, warehouse receiving, or facility maintenance is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
