Salary: $70,000 - $85,000

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant / Audit Associate to join our dynamic team. This position is in person with the possibility of being hybrid. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with at least 1 year of experience in the field. Knowledge and experience in taxation are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough audits of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and present these to management.
Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems.
Provide recommendations for enhancing financial practices and controls.
Assist in tax preparation and planning, leveraging knowledge in tax-related matters.
Analyze financial data and produce financial statements and reports.
Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in accounting and auditing.
Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in auditing.
CPA certification or progress towards obtaining CPA certification is highly desirable.
Experience in tax preparation and planning is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
