Quality Assurance Analyst

IsI Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to be an integral part of a fast-paced agile development team. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise web application through manual verification of its business use cases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the QA Team to gather use cases from engineers, product management, and other key stakeholders and design effective test strategies
• Design and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of our software products
• Document test cases and test results and communicate them to team members
• Conduct thorough testing of new features and enhancements, identifying and documenting defects for resolution using issue-tracking tools such as Jira
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Qualifications:

• As part of your work at ISI, you will potentially have access to sensitive information from the federal government. Pursuant to applicable regulations, ISI requires that all candidates for this role present proof of U.S. citizenship before hire.
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer related technical field, or equivalent work or military experience.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and protocols.
• Experience with Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence
• Experience with API testing toolsets, such as Postman
• Familiarity with using tools such as Chrome Dev Tools and AWS CloudWatch to gather information about a defect identified
