Position Summary:
This role is based in a non-clinical facility and is responsible for a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Post payments to member accounts accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile account discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy
Process returned payments and initiate appropriate follow-up actions
Issue refunds and apply account adjustments (memos) as needed
Generate member correspondence and financial letters
Respond to email inquiries from members and internal stakeholders
Handle incoming telephone inquiries regarding billing, payment rates, and account concerns
Process member payments, update account information in the system, and document all interactions accordingly
Route calls to appropriate departments or team members
Provide high-quality customer service to members, brokers, and internal personnel
Demonstrate professional telephone etiquette and effective communication skills
Navigate and work efficiently using dual monitors and multiple systems simultaneously
Perform additional administrative or financial duties as assigned by the Team Coordinator
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
Experience handling high call volumes or working in a phone-based customer service environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a team-oriented environment
