Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, maintaining recruiting systems, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role serves as a key liaison between candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and Human Resources while ensuring recruitment processes are efficient, organized, and aligned with ASC's business objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong working relationships throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure recruiting data integrity.
- Assist with creating and posting job advertisements across various recruiting platforms and social media channels.
- Support sourcing efforts by identifying and engaging potential candidates through job boards, networking sites, employee referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, reference checks, and onboarding documentation.
- Prepare recruitment reports, hiring metrics, interview summaries, and other talent acquisition analytics.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR team members to facilitate an efficient and positive hiring experience.
- Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, campus recruiting initiatives, and community outreach programs.
- Monitor open requisitions and provide regular updates regarding candidate pipelines and hiring progress.
- Support employer branding initiatives and help promote ASC as an employer of choice.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company employment policies and recruiting regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information while adhering to organizational standards.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, human resources, or administrative support.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, or recruiting software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to exercise discretion and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Experience supporting recruitment for manufacturing, construction, industrial, or skilled trades environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.

- Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and through written correspondence.
- Ability to occasionally attend hiring events, career fairs, and community recruiting activities.
