TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Richmond, Virginia, 23229!
Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PACU or critical care License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS certified Must-Have: Candidates must have 2 years of PACU or critical care experience. Candidates must be certified in ACLS, PALS, and BLS. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The unit has 26 beds and a staff of 17. On the day shift, there is one supervisor and 7 to 8 nurses. During the night shift, there are 2 nurses. The patient ratios are 2:1, except for pediatric patients, which are 1:1. Typical procedures performed include surgical recovery of high-acuity patients. This includes neuro, vascular, kidney transplants, GYN oncology, general oncology, and reconstructive plastics. Candidates with experience in the PACU recovery of kidney transplant patients and TAVR patients will be prioritized. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Dress code requires scrubs in navy blue. About Cynet Health
