Job Title: Outside Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Outside Machinist to perform work such as the overhaul and repair of pumps, motors, valves, and other auxiliary equipment. No specific certifications, licenses, or medical qualifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform open, inspect, and repair work on components of marine sea water, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Conduct repair and restoration work on propulsion shaft, shaft couplings, or vibration reducers.
• Remove, inspect, and repair various fairwater, stern plane, and steering & diving system components.
• Remove, inspect, and repair submarine sail components such as periscopes, masts, and antennas.
• Repair and overhaul of ship’s weapons and ordinance systems including torpedo tubes, launchers, and weapons handling equipment.
• Install and repair foundations for operating machinery and principal structures/components.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
