Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join a boutique, growing family law firm in Richmond, Virginia. This firm specializes in high-asset divorce and custody cases, offering a dynamic environment focused on autonomy, flexibility, and exceptional client service. Responsibilities: - Represent clients in complex family law cases, including high-asset divorce and custody matters. - Manage equitable distribution cases involving significant assets and business interests. - Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. - Conduct thorough research and discovery to build strong cases and support litigation strategies. - Advocate for clients in court, presenting arguments effectively and persuasively. - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive case management and client satisfaction. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions. - Leverage a revenue-based compensation model to achieve substantial income potential. - Stay informed on Virginia family law developments to provide expert legal guidance. - Contribute to the firm's strategic direction and uphold its reputation for excellence. Requirements - Licensed to practice law in Virginia and in good standing. - Minimum of three years of experience in family law or civil litigation. - Proven expertise handling equitable distribution cases involving large assets and businesses. - Strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documentation. - Proficiency in discovery processes and legal research. - Exceptional courtroom advocacy and communication abilities. - Self-directed and entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results. - Commitment to delivering high-quality client service and maintaining ethical standards.
