Data Entry Assistant

Specialized Technical Services (STS) is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Assistant to support our technical and administrative operations. In this remote role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, updating databases, and ensuring the seamless flow of information across our digital platforms. As a key member of our remote team, you will help bridge the gap between technical data collection and administrative reporting to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Maintenance: Accurately input and update client, project, and financial data into our centralized systems.
  

• Verification: Review source documents for deficiencies or errors and resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures.
  

• Administrative Support: Assist project managers with specialized clerical tasks in a high-volume remote environment.
  

• Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of data security and privacy in accordance with company policy.
  

• Reporting: Prepare and submit periodic reports on data entry progress and database health to the management team.
  

Requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years in a data entry, clerical, or administrative assistant role.
  

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with cloud-based collaboration tools.
  

• Speed & Accuracy: Exceptional typing skills (50+ WPM) with an emphasis on precision.
  

• Independence: Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  

• Communication: Excellent written communication for effective collaboration with a distributed workforce.
