BWXT is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for its Lynchburg, VA location!

Job Description/Duties:

-Electrically troubleshoot and repair Industrial Equipment, Material Handling systems, Power Distribution systems, Frequency Drives, Programmable Logic Controllers and Relay Logic.
-Perform upgrades to facility infrastructure and perform preventive

maintenance
as required.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

-Technical school preferred (Electrical Program).
-Electrical Maintenance experience preferred.
-Will be required to complete an Electrical Curriculum (VTI or CVCC) VTI (Vocational Technical Institute).
-Will be required to complete Apprenticeship program.
-Must be a self-starter and must be willing, and able, to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures and/or other standard work practices.
-Must be able to support equipment outages/Shutdown and must be able to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and call-in's when required.
-Must be capable of working in a team environment with Engineering, Maintenance Craftsmen, and Vendors.
-Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
-Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
