Registered Nurse Job Details

• Position Type: Travel nursing RN (contract)
• Healthcare Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (Long-Term Care/LTC)
• Location: Winchester, Tennessee 37398 (Tennessee nursing jobs)
• Start Date: September 7, 2025
• End Date: December 7, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend/as needed
• Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience (LTC or skilled nursing preferred)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC (must be valid before start date)
• Ability to float to other nursing units as needed
• Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and professional demeanor
• Scrub color: Any (no casual attire permitted)

RN Responsibilities – Long-Term Care Nursing

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients of all ages in a long-term care (LTC) environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress in accordance with healthcare standards
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding care and recovery
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and nursing best practices
• Float to other units within the skilled nursing facility as needed
