Physical Therapy Aide

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to provide excellent customer service and patient care while supporting our therapy team. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting and contributing to patients’ recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Support therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas and set up equipment for therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the therapist.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all therapy sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and rehabilitation equipment in accordance with clinic standards, including:
• Daily laundry.
• Equipment inspection and sterilization.
• Stocking and maintaining appropriate supply inventory levels.
• Apply heat and cold packs as directed.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.
• Participate in additional projects or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or higher education required.
• Experience or knowledge in demonstrating exercises correctly to patients preferred.
• Familiarity with geriatrics, orthopedics, or outpatient settings is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions carefully.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Hours: Monday through Friday, approximately 20-30 hours per week (schedule may vary based on clinic needs).
• Pay: $15-$18 per hour, based on experience.
