Project Manager
Project Manager — Infrastructure Operations
A growing infrastructure organization is seeking a Project Manager to support estimating, scheduling, contract review, project controls, and operational execution across field construction projects. This role blends financial discipline with hands-on operational coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, construction project experience, and the ability to partner with field leadership, finance, and executive stakeholders to drive efficiency and performance in fast-paced operational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Estimating & Financial Oversight
- Develop project estimates, cost models, and bid packages
- Review scopes of work and contracts to identify risk exposure
- Build and manage project budgets and cost forecasts
- Monitor job cost performance and margin tracking
- Prepare accurate, professional proposals and pricing submissions
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Review bid schedules and participate in pre-award coordination
- Develop project timelines using scheduling tools and Gantt methodology
- Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment planning
- Facilitate project kickoff and transition to field execution
Field Operations Support
- Provide project management oversight for complex or high-impact work
- Serve as liaison between office leadership and field teams
- Assist with schedule, cost, and scope resolution
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Reporting & Operational Improvement
- Generate project control reports and performance summaries
- Identify workflow and cost-efficiency opportunities
- Deliver data-driven recommendations to leadership
Education & Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of project management experience within construction, utilities, pipeline, or infrastructure environments
- Strong financial and cost-control acumen
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and job cost tracking
- Ability to interpret contracts and technical project documentation
- Working knowledge of construction field operations
- Scheduling experience using Gantt-based project tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project scheduling software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in dynamic environments
Work Environment
- On-site collaboration with field and operations teams
- Occasional travel within the regional project footprint
