Buzz Franchise Brands (BFB) is a multi-brand franchise company focused on being the best provider of services to homes and people across the country. Our brand portfolio includes British Swim School, Pool Scouts, Home Clean Heroes and Wonderly Lights. BFB is looking for a marketing intern to support various marketing initiatives for our brands. If you’re an energetic self-starter with an eye for detail and affection for all things marketing, this could be the ideal internship for you.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of this internship focus on marketing initiatives that grow awareness of our franchise brands, while supporting the success of our franchise locations. Such initiatives may include:

• Helping create and repurpose content for blog posts, social media and email campaigns in accordance with a strategic content calendar.

• Lead consumer and franchise development projects which may include media research, competitive analysis, and other similar activities.

• Providing administrative support as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Internship Assignment

The Marketing Intern will complete a research and deliverable assignment over the course of the summer with BFB. The project may vary based on current needs of the company and qualifications of the intern. The project will be defined at the beginning of the internship.

Required Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in one of the following areas preferred: Marketing, Communications, Business, Media/Design, English, or related field

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail

• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Must have strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a high degree of professional maturity

• Highly organized with strong project and time management skills; strong multi-tasker

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Additional Information

• This internship is for experience and credit only. It is not a paid internship.

• This is a part time position, minimum of 10 hours per week; hours are flexible.

• Internship is located at our corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA.
