Job Description:
Lead QA Engineer responsible for defining and executing a modern QA and automation strategy to support the migration of long-standing chatbot platforms to a new conversational AI framework.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead QA efforts for migrating two enterprise chatbots from a legacy platform to a new conversational AI platform

• Design and implement a new automated testing strategy from the ground up

• Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites using modern frameworks

• Partner with product, development, scrum, and QA team members in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Coordinate QA activities across onshore and offshore resources

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Validate data integrity and system behavior using advanced SQL queries

• Balance hands-on testing (~70%) with QA leadership and strategy (~30%)

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 7 years of QA engineering experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)

  • Proven ability to design and write automated tests from scratch

  • Experience leading or coordinating QA efforts across distributed teams (onshore/offshore)

  • CI/CD integration and continuous testing experience

  • Advanced SQL querying skills

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Familiarity with Git-based version control and modern development workflows

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience testing chatbots or conversational AI platforms

  • Hands-on experience with Dialogflow CX or other chatbot frameworks

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Zephyr)
