Senior Digital Product Manager
Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues . We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.
As our digital product organization matures, we're investing in leadership that can scale our impact, sharpen our strategy, and strengthen our role as a collaborative partner across the enterprise. As a Senior Digital Product Manager in the Digital Product org on Stand Together’s Marketing & Communications team, you’ll help shape how we prioritize, frame, and evolve digital experiences that align with organizational goals. Your work will be critical to ensuring those experiences meaningfully serve the people we aim to reach.
You’ll bring strategic depth, a data-driven mindset, and a strong orientation toward discovery to help the team meet growing demand with greater clarity, consistency, and confidence. This includes shaping product roadmaps, mentoring others, evaluating new opportunities, and guiding the organization toward solving the right problems.
This role is ideal for a seasoned product leader who thrives at the intersection of purpose, complexity, and collaboration - and who sees discovery and strategy as essential to long-term success.
How You Will Contribute
- Lead upstream conversations that translate business goals into actionable product direction.
- Work with product teams to shape roadmaps that balance near-term needs with long-term digital product vision.
- Collaborate across teams to define effective ways of working, evaluate external partnerships, and shape new digital opportunities - helping build in-house capabilities that reflect our principles, deepen collaboration, and enable best-in-class delivery.
- Advance digital product strategy that bridges organizational narrative and audience experience - enabling more meaningful, personalized, and purpose-driven engagement at scale.
- Define product outcomes rooted in user insights, data, and strategic priorities - while building the toolkit to support this work (e.g., research inputs, analytics needs, and problem framing).
- Partner with IT counterparts to ensure technology decisions are grounded in user needs, strategic direction, and long-term value - helping shape internal solution design practices, evaluate vendors, and align systems with product vision.
- Contribute to strategic storytelling and executive communication by shaping narratives that clarify direction, demonstrate value, and align collaborators around shared goals.
- Mentor and elevate team members through skill development, peer learning, and a culture of shared growth.
- Bring structure and consistency to product discovery, delivery practices, and alignment across the organization.
- Serve as a strategic filter, helping assess new opportunities and determine when to lead, support, or redirect efforts.
- Foster a high-performing, learning-oriented culture grounded in continuous improvement and shared accountability.
What You Will Bring
- 10-15+ years of experience in digital product management, ideally within platform-driven, mission-oriented, or highly matrixed organizations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in defining and delivering impactful digital products that drive measurable outcomes.
- Strong discovery and strategy skills - adept at framing problems, crafting hypotheses, validating direction, and aligning on the “why.”
- Familiarity with MarTech ecosystems and tools such as CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress), Segment, GA4, and A/B testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing across functions and working consultatively in complex environments.
- Experience mentoring product team members and fostering an empowered, outcome-focused, and growth-oriented team culture.
- Fluency in Agile practices, including iterative development, backlog refinement, and supporting dual-track discovery and delivery.
- A values-driven mindset and genuine interest in Stand Together’s mission, with a commitment to Principle Based Management (PBM) and bottom-up empowerment.
Our Values: Working at Stand Together is different from many other organizations. Our culture is deeply rooted in Principle Based Management® (PBM®), a framework guided by the principles that drive human progress, such as dignity, openness, and bottom-up empowerment. PBM® empowers our employees to be entrepreneurial, to innovate, and to continually drive transformation.
We believe diversity fuels creativity, broadens knowledge, and helps drive success, and that is why we’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and strive to treat all employees and applicants with honesty, dignity, respect and sensitivity.
