Technician
Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Technician for a position in Roanoke, VA or New Albany, OH.
- Coordinate FAC-008 activities of others and provide updates to leadership.
- Become proficient in navigation and monitoring of the IPS asset database.
- Uses knowledge and experience to perform cost effective work in an efficient manner.
- Exhibits understanding of pertinent equipment, material, systems, and processes.
- Possesses intermediate level of computer literacy knowledge/skills.
- Understands and works within appropriate policies and follows procedures.
- Provides training and guidance to employees where beneficial.
- Develops knowledge of time constraints for work activities and makes proper adjustments where needed.
- Actively seeks out information to increase technical knowledge and job skills
- Contributes to team goals.
- Begins networking with peers to share information and encourage cooperation.
- Uses decision making skills to perform job more efficient and cost effective.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience.
- Must have experience reading one lines and electrical/physical prints.
- Experience with file management and ability to upload photographs into the Verifact system to provide support to the verification team. Data accuracy is critical.
