Integration & Test Engineer

Description:

ENG- Plan and execute system integration and testing activities while supporting software installation, configuration, and defect resolution for complex software systems. Develop test plans, validate system performance, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure successful software integration. Support onsite engineering efforts by documenting test results and resolving integration issues throughout the project lifecycle.

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
*10+ years of experience in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment
*Experience performing Windows and Linux cross-platform test execution
*Experience testing micro-service architectures
*Working knowledge of PostgreSQL database validation and basic SQL
*Experience performing frontend testing of web user interfaces
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Preferred Skills

*CompTIA Security+ certification
*Experience supporting U.S. Navy training systems and processes
*Knowledge of Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), JLVC Analysis Workstation (JAWS), and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS)
*Experience working in VMware virtualized environments
*Experience using Agile workflows with Atlassian Jira and Confluence

*Develop and execute system test plans
*Install and configure software components
*Coordinate with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues
*Document, track, and report software defects
*Support system integration and testing activities for in-house software solutions
*Validate software performance through cross-platform testing and database verification
*Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain system functionality
