Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented AWS Cloud Administrator, to join our team in Chantilly, VA

Clearance

• Active TS/SCI W/ CI Polygraph (existing clearance required to start)

Location

• Chantilly, VA

Overview

• Design, implement, and manage complex AWS cloud environments
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like CloudFormation
• Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services and applications
• Implement and maintain security controls and compliance measures
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay current with AWS services and best practices, recommending new technologies and approaches

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud administration, with at least 3 years focused on AWS
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (IAT level 2 or higher)
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and Bedrock
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch
• Ability to manage multiple priority tasks
• Self-motivated in identifying and completing tasks

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• AWS Professional level certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
