Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine/Internal Medicine)

Location: Richmond, VA (Forest Avenue)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $225,000 – $285,000 annually (Starting salary up to $275,000 for the right candidate)

Position Overview

seeking a Board-Certified Primary Care Physician to join our Richmond, Virginia practice due to an immediate opening. The incoming physician will assume an established patient panel from a retiring physician, providing continuity of care within a highly regarded concierge-style primary care practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Deliver preventive care and wellness-focused treatment plans.
• Build long-term relationships with patients through personalized care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• 5–20 years of primary care experience preferred.
• Graduate of a U.S. medical school (Stateside Medical Graduate required).
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, relationship-based care.
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing an established patient panel.
• Female physicians are encouraged to apply, as this position involves transitioning care for patients from a retiring female physician.

Compensation & Benefits
