About the Role

Join our production team powering an overnight operation that turns paper blanks into finished clamshell and fry cartons. You’ll rotate between two key functions based on business needs: feeding paperboard into forming equipment and packing finished product. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM–4:00 AM .

A Night on the Line

When your shift starts, you’ll check in with the operator, review tickets, and set up your area. Depending on assignment, you’ll either feed multiple machines to keep the formers running or pack finished cartons from the forming chutes into sleeves, bags, and cases.

Feeder Responsibilities

• Keep a minimum of four machines supplied with paper blanks; lift, pre-break, and place product into the feed hopper.
• Be able to feed and maintain up to six formers.
• Remove plastic from loads and pull tickets; provide tickets to the operator.
• Watch quality as you feed: keep cartons straight and remove loose scrap; sort when the operator requests it.
• Maintain R.S.C. inventory and furnish case packers with the R.S.C.’s required for production.
• Practice good housekeeping at all times.
• Follow all safety protocols, including GMP’s, PPE’s, and HACCP & JSA regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.

Packer Responsibilities

• Catch and maintain six lanes from the forming chutes, pulling product at the count mark.
• Conduct basic quality checks: remove defective items and replace with good product.
• Verify cartons are properly glued and that the correct quantity is packed into sleeves; complete quality check-off sheets.
• After quality checks, stage product correctly and place into a bag; place the sleeved product into a bag, then bag into case, and case onto the conveyor.
• Assist operators in cleaning glue tips as needed.
• Provide break and lunch relief for other packers; help with labeling, box repack, and keeping the area neat and clean.
• Make and label boxes; fill glue containers for machines; clean up the work area.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Adhere to GMP’s, PPE’s, and HACCP & JSA regulations.
• Perform other duties as required and check with operators or a supervisor for any additional needs.
