Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior IT Risk Manager to lead risk-related initiatives across IT projects and operations. This role demands a skilled leader and communicator who can work cross-functionally with technical, compliance, and business teams to manage IT-related risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT risk management efforts across the enterprise, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related risk activities.
  

• Oversee and manage the Issue Management lifecycle , including:
  

  • Risk identification
    

  • Action plan creation
    

  • Execution tracking
    

  • Validation and closure
    

• Drive RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) processes, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with business stakeholders.
  

• Support audits and internal assessments by ensuring evidence and controls are properly maintained and reported.
  

• Serve as a liaison between IT and Risk Governance/Compliance teams, ensuring risks are communicated and addressed timely.
  

• Apply ITIL principles to improve risk-aware change, incident, and problem management processes.
  

• Promote risk awareness and adherence to internal risk policies and external regulations.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

IT Risk Management
8+ years of experience in risk management in IT environments
Issue/Project Risk Management
Proven experience managing end-to-end risk issue workflows
RCSA Execution
Hands-on experience with RCSA process and tools
ITIL Knowledge
ITIL experience required; certification
Communication & Leadership
Strong written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management
Audit & Compliance Readiness
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as SOX, NIST, ISO27001
Tool Proficiency
Experience with risk/audit platforms such as Archer, ServiceNow GRC, or similar
Qualifications:

• ITIL v3 or v4 Certification
  

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as finance or insurance
  

• Familiarity with control frameworks like COSO or COBIT
  

• Understanding of enterprise risk reporting metrics and KPIs
  

Soft Skills:

• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
  

• High attention to detail and organizational skills
  

• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
  

• Collaborative team player and strong influencer
