Structural Engineer

We are currently seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to join our collaborative A/E team in Richmond, VA or Charlotte, NC. Our engineers have considerable building design experience involving institutional and/or commercial projects from schematic design through construction administration.
Location: Richmond, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina

Experience:
  • 7-10 years of design experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering required.
  • PE registration or the ability to obtain licensure.
Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical and design skills along with solid written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Masonry, steel, concrete, and wood framing experience.
  • Solid proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with structural analysis and design software (Tekla, TEDDs, and RISA).
  • Organization and prioritization in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Can work effectively within an A/E environment possessing a commitment to fostering collaborative teamwork.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and interact with contractors.
