Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who brings practical knowledge of Agile methodologies , strong technical skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. In this role, you’ll partner with business and technology teams to build scalable data solutions, perform advanced analytics, and deliver insights that directly impact our software products and customer outcomes.

What You’ll Get to Do

• Strategic Data Platforms: Collaborate with business and technology partners to build out a robust, scalable, and secure data environment.
  

• Business Data Understanding: Partner with analytic groups to analyze business-specific data sources, data elements, and relationships, including working with SAS .
  

• End-to-End Solutions: Translate high-level business requirements into fully realized analytical and reporting solutions.
  

• Advanced Analytics: Identify opportunities to apply machine learning, natural language processing, and automation across business-aligned testing teams.
  

• Exploratory Analysis: Conduct deep dives into datasets to develop strong domain knowledge and uncover insights.
  

• Risk Analysis: Apply statistical and mathematical techniques using tools such as Python, R, and SQL .
  

• Automation: Streamline processes and reporting through Python scripting, SQL optimization, and VBA automation .
  

• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies and create business/technical user stories in Jira .
  

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve project goals.
  

What You’ll Bring with You

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Mining, or Data Science with SAS .
  

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  

• Hands-on experience with Python (scripting, automation, log analysis) and R .
  

• Solid experience working in Agile teams , including writing business and technical user stories in Jira .
  

• Preferred: Experience working with Freddie Mac / Fannie Mae or in the mortgage/financial services domain .
  

• Familiarity with command-line operations for executing scripts and log analysis.
  

• Strong analytical ability to distill complex datasets into actionable insights.
  

• Ability to quickly learn business operations and translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions.
  

• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  

• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
