Manager, Nursing and Patient Care Services - NICU

First (Days) Overview: Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring an Clinical Manager, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) . This position will lead obstetrics and neonatal care with an emphasis on intermediate care nursery. Ideal position for a supportive leader ready to make a meaningful impact on mothers, babies, and families. Offering a large sign-on/relocation bonus up to $30,000 What we offer:

- 1 year of Nurse Management experience
- NICU experience desired
- Supervises patient care services staff, ensures excellent patient safety and quality outcomes as well as extraordinary patient/family experience.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable team.
- Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills to achieve unit and corporate goals.
- Assists in the development and monitoring of unit budget, coordinates purchasing and payroll processes and serves as a clinical resource to team members.
