Controller
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to join our team in Richmond. This role is crucial for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department. If you have a strong background in accounting, particularly within a hospital system, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the Assistant Controller, ensuring departmental tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Organize and delegate responsibilities within the department to meet productivity goals.
- Foster an environment of open communication within the department and with hospital management.
- Assist in the preparation and completion of budgets, cost reports, and ad hoc financial reports under the guidance of the ACFO/CFO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in Accounting (required).
- Over 5 years of experience in Accounting with 1-2 years of supervising accountants, preferably in a healthcare setting (preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (preferred).
