**Overview** As a **Program Manager** ,you will be the leader, driving delivery in a government client consulting environment. In this role we are looking for solutions-focused candidates who thrive providing excellence to clients and have experience managing teams of technical personnel to build solutions and systems. The ideal candidate is a creative and hands-on leader, with experience managing teams in digital transformation and implementation efforts. You will be a client manager, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading deployments of solutions in a client environment. **Contributions** **Key contributions of this role include:** + Serving as a delivery leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight, visibility into delivery targets, and client acceptance. + Supporting delivery operations, building and maintaining client relationships, fostering and promoting innovative thinking across the client environment. + Developing and leading teams through solution prototyping, development, and deployment - from hands-on proposal technical support to prototyping client implementations and complete production deployment. + Manage budget, time, and resources for delivery team. + Handling challenging client situations and offering guidance and direction to client executives. If you don't know the difference between that and management, this just isn't going to work out. + Proven experience of leading the deployment of enterprise and custom Software solutions in client environments. + Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems. + Proven experience growing and selling while delivering. + Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills. + Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity. + Proven team player and team builder. + Strong organizational and analytical skills. + Experience working with Human Center Design. + Local to the Washington, DC metro area. + Required to be onsite three times a week. **Preferred:** + PMP Certification + Certified Scrum Master + SAFe certification **About** **steampunk** Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position. Annual salary is just one aspect of Steampunk's total compensation package for employees.
