Compensation: $22-$24/hour
Location: Stafford VA 22554
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8AM-5:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform electrical wiring, and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities,ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.
- Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support team goals for production targets.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Basic computer skills for documenting work and tracking assembly progress.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and ability to follow them in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Candidates will be traveling 10%-15% of the time with this position
