Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver exceptional care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic clinical environment where youll play a vital role in surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow healthcare professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (other certifications may be required depending on facility policy)
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and aseptic technique
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process
- Prepare the OR and assist with set-up of surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, maintaining sterile environments
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and follow established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
