Randstad is currently working with a company that installs Retail and Commercial solar energy systems in accordance with quality standards and applicable legislative and industry standards, while providing a superior customer experience. They are hiring Electricians in Henrico, VA
Responsibilities:- Ensure installs are conducted in a safe manner adhering to policy and procedures at all times.
- Identify all hazards and report all incidents to the relevant representative
- Comply with all inspections, audits, investigations and requests for documentation;
- Conduct Job Site Assessments(JSA) / toolbox meetings for each and every day of the installation and return all appropriate documentation to the Head Office with the Job Pack.
- Always wear supplied personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that all required PPE (including harnesses, hard hats etc.) is available at site and is used at all times; and
- Undertake safety checks of vehicles, ladders, hand / power tools, safety equipment adhering to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Industrial and/or Commercial Environments.
- Certification II in Electrotechnology or A-Grade Electrical License.
- Strong understanding of all product technical details, specifications, benefits, performance and costs and be able to communicate them internally and externally.
- Understand products and ensure the products are installed as per supplier specifications, industry specific guidelines; regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain a current knowledge base of industry specific guidelines and rules.
