**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and control access to the healthcare location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with security-related procedures and information.
+ Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the healthcare facility.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to established protocols.
+ Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns.
+ Communicate with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as appropriate to relay important security-related information.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ It is preferred that candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
