Enterprise Solutions and Proposal Architect - Citizen Security and Public Services

Program Overview

About The Role

Peraton has an immediate need for an Enterprise Solutions and Proposal Architect (ESPA) to support growth opportunities for the Citizen Security & Public Services Sector. This is a remote work position with the flexibility to travel to locations within the DC/Northern VA offices to support solutioning activities.

As an ESPA, you will be a core member of a capture team, responsible for leading the design of innovative and cost-effective mission relevant solutions that could include systems engineering, applications development, cyber security, cloud, infrastructure, and AI solutions that address the operational and technological needs of our customers while helping to grow our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business Development, delivery accounts and Corporate Offerings teams to determine the overall solution strategy and approach to align to the customer’s objectives and requirements including merging industry point of view with broad technical knowledge and mission understanding to generate value propositions and approaches to solve Government customer challenges.
• Responsible for the technical solution development, competitive costing, and business case alignment of Peraton solutions to the Government client’s proposal requirements.
• Lead teams of solution professionals and technical subject matter experts in the development of integrated, cost-effective solutions for inclusion in proposal responses that meet the customer’s requirements and maximize Peraton’s competitive advantage.
• Create and defend staffing models which align with the solution strategy.
• Guides team in developing graphics and written content, which translates the solution strategy to clear, effective, and customer-value oriented technical volumes and orals decks.
• Possess the ability to collaborate effectively with the Peraton business leaders to design the solution and key solution parameters prior to costing activities.
• Able to clearly articulate all aspects of the solution during governance reviews with senior Peraton management, identifying and evaluating solution risks and create strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
• Establish strong relationships with Peraton partners to drive high quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
• Understanding of Operational environments and how to position Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to program sponsors.
• Ability to interact with customers to gain insight into customer needs and support shaping activities by articulating the benefits of Peraton solutions.
• Translate the benefits of our approach to specific levels of seniority within the sponsor teams (strategic vs. tactical) Translate innovation and R&D into differentiated solutions for customers working with company technology leadership Mature network of contacts to include government, OEMs, and competitors.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field and a minimum of 16 years industry experience or a minimum of 14+ years industry experience with Masters OR a minimum of 10+ years industry experience with PhD.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leading successful (winning) technical solutions and proposal development for large, complex opportunities and proposal submissions for US Federal Government customers.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with technical subject matter experts, Program Managers, proposal managers, and Business Development teams to determine customer requirements in complex and often ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a variety of formats with varying levels of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and communicate at the senior and executive management levels.
• Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines including cloud, virtualization, database, storage, network, automation, AI/ML, application development, Zero Trust, Agile and SAFe.
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
• Current certifications in ITIL 4 foundation, Security+, Agile Certified Practitioner, one or more of: Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Google Cloud Foundational.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
