How youll contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:

• Assess and prepare for the days schedule print MRIs lab results reports etc.
• Take vitals discuss and document patient histories
• Apply assist andremoval ofcasts splints braces dressings staples sutures.
• Patienteducationmedicineusage cast care home care of dressings splints therapy what to expect etc.
• GiveIMinjections as necessary
• AssistingDrs PAs with procedures/injections
• Maintain thework flowfor the Drskeepingstudy incoming/outgoing pts to keep the Dr.s on schedule
• Venipuncture for in-house labs

Applicants must be a graduate of a practical school of requirements include:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Previous research experience preferred.
