Overview

Hiring: Residential Electrician

Fulltime: some flexibility for on-call

Pay: $22 – $28 per hour
Location: Roanoke, VA 24018

Job Summary

As a Residential Electrician, you will provide safe and courteous service. You troubleshoot, diagnose, install and replace equipment while following manufacturer recommendations and local codes. Supporting residents with their basic electrical needs. You will identify options and clearly explain pricing to clients.

What you will do

• Respond promptly to residential service calls
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems
• Provide courteous and professional customer service
• Propose equipment replacements when appropriate
• Complete necessary documentation
• Collect customer payments

What you will need

• Prior experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical components.
• Minimum 6 months of electrical experience, 3+ years of experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in enclosed spaces
• Able to pass a background check and drug test
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be local or able to commute to Roanoke, VA 24018
