ArcGIS ERSI UI Developer

We are looking for an experienced ArcGIS ESRI user interface (UI) developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our ArcGIS-based products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to understand product requirements and translate them into elegant user interfaces.
• Design responsive UI interfaces and wireframes for web and mobile applications based on ESRI ArcGIS APIs and libraries.
• Develop new user interface components and features using JavaScript and ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
• Integrate ArcGIS maps, layers, widgets, and other functionality into web and mobile applications.
• Ensure UI designs and implementations meet accessibility standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with interface functionality and work with back-end developers to resolve them.
• Contribute documentation regarding UI standards, components, and architecture.
• Stay up to date on the latest ESRI ArcGIS platform capabilities and best practices for UI development.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or Equivalent +5 years Frontend Development
• Proven expertise with ESRI GIS products and Solutions and ArcGIS Servers
• Demonstrated proficiency using React with the ArcGIS API for JavaScript
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines to deliver user-centric solutions
• RESTful JSON
• Python
• Web Services APIs

Highly Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of DoD Real Estate, Real Property, and Army or DoD space use standards and programs.
• Kubernetes
• Experience with TypeScript, Angular, or other modern frameworks
• Prior experience developing commercial GIS applications
• Experienced with working in Jira in maintaining projects and backlogs, etc.
• Experienced with working with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites
