Production Technician

Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and package customer orders.
- Inspect prototypes, production parts, and assemblies.
- Maintain strict quality control procedures.
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
- Collect materials and equipment needed to complete tasks and assemblies.
- Keep records of production quantities.
- Assess and repair/maintain customer equipment.
- Work with engineers to develop, prototype, and test various parts and assemblies.
- Maintain tools and product inventory.
- Maintain export compliance regulations.
- Participate in occasional domestic and international travel for installation/maintenance programs.
Essential Skills
- Technical knowledge and ability to read assembly drawings.
- Ability to work with accuracy, speed, and precision.
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.

- Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing operations.
- Forklift certification.
- Understanding of DC power systems.
- Ability to solder wires and PCB mounted components.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.

This is a contract position based out of Fredericksburg, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.19 - $24.03/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
