Republic Trusswerks is seeking a motivated sales professional to help drive growth in an emerging market from Richmond to Charlottesville. This role focuses on developing new business, building strong customer relationships, and establishing our presence in the region. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-oriented, and energized by the opportunity to grow a market from the ground up.

Role Expectations:

• Promote and sell truss components & EWP to new a customer base
• Actively pursue trust, and high performance in all aspects of the position
• Focus on high level customer service
• Demonstrates and promotes integrity, respect, and teamwork
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support
• Travel to customer locations and construction sites
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of wood frame construction, roof/ floor truss systems and engineered wood products
• Ability to interpret architectural plans & layouts
• Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize time and work efficiently
• Anticipate problems and resolve them before they become problems for the customer
• Effectively communicate with customers and team members orally and in writing
• Valid Driver's License and good motor vehicle record

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Travel to customer locations and construction sites, which involve walking, standing, and moving around uneven terrain
• Occasionally lifting and carrying materials
• Exposure to various weather conditions when visiting construction sites
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
• May include irregular hours to meet client needs and project deadlines.
