Salesforce QA
Position Overview
The Salesforce QA will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce-based applications. This role involves designing and executing detailed test cases, validating business requirements, and supporting all phases of the Quality Assurance (QA) lifecycle. The tester will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and client teams to identify defects, ensure adherence to quality standards, and deliver high-performing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce environments, testing methodologies, and SDLC processes, with the ability to work independently or within a collaborative team setting in both Agile and Waterfall models.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct medium complex technical QA activities related to the Application Under Test (AUT).
- Understand the existing process, analyze users' requirements, and document requirements.
- Prepare testing and reporting documentation, such as Test plans, Test strategy, and test exit reporting, throughout the software development life cycle.
- Develop Test scenarios and write detailed Test cases.
- Create a Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Track defects to closure and maintain an up-to-date defect repository.
- Work individually on the project, completing assigned tasks promptly.
- Collaborate on quality assurance within a team or with the client team.
- Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives for future applications or projects.
- Communicate effectively with the Team Lead to facilitate informed decisions on progress.
- Be flexible and adapt to new technologies on a need basis.
- Perform Functional testing, regression testing, System Integration Testing, and support User Acceptance testing.
Technical and Soft Skills Requirements:
- Knowledge of Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.); experience or knowledge of public sector solutions and omni scripts are added advantages.
- Good understanding of Quality Assurance testing life cycle, including writing test plans/strategies, and the ability to execute manual and functional testing involving data mocking, running test cases, validation, result validation, etc.
- Understand Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Waterfall or Agile methodology of project delivery.
- Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to quickly understand complex business and systems to provide a suitable solution for clients.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Team player.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and experience in at least one programming language.
- Salesforce certifications.
- ISTQB / ISEB certification.
