Single Business Office Director
- Oversees and monitors patient statement runs, guarantor merge requests, rCare SBO risk reviews, bad debt processes, contact us messages, SBO rPolicies, annual leap frog surveys, and insurance master. Responsible for chart corrections.
- Manages the financial assistance processes and is responsible for approving/denying charity. Oversees and monitors payment plans.
- Reviews self-pay aging and billing indicator reviews and works toward self-pay balance resolution.
- Ensures all SBO accounts in iCare WQs are worked timely and are assigned to appropriate team members and managers.
- Oversees and manages vendor performance.
- Provides ad-hoc reporting. Assists System Director in preparation with reporting for Executive leadership. Creates and analyzes data reports and designs meaningful metrics and trend reports.
- Works with Internal Audit & Compliance, adhering to 501R and RHS policies.
- Works closely with iCare team members to improve workflows and initiate break fixes. Supports and/or leads SBO projects. Implements process improvements. Provides education and training as needed.
- Serves as back-up for other patient accounting directors as needed.
- Bachelors Degree, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Required)
- 7-10 years Revenue Cycle Management/Leadership experience (Required)
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Expertise in insurance billing and follow-up
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) - American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) within 1 Year(Required)
