As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Lynchburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this dynamic role, you will bring a reliable, agile, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork to put people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or contractors, helping to support weapons-related post orders and restricted area protocols as assigned.
• Assist with incident response, de-escalation, and/or coordination with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed, while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
