We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join our team! You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings. **Remote Position** (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Residents)

Commonwealth Community Development Services (CCDS) is a comprehensive behavioral health agency offering a continuum of care, including Outpatient Therapy, Mental Health Skill-Building, Crisis Stabilization, and Counseling Services .

We are currently expanding our outpatient therapy team and seeking Licensed or Licensed-Eligible Clinicians to provide telehealth-based therapy to adult clients across Virginia. CCDS is credentialed with Virginia Medicaid and all major MCOs and will expand to commercial insurance networks in 2026 .

We are looking for dedicated therapists who want a consistent caseload of at least 10 clients per week and are passionate about improving mental health and stability in our community.

Position Overview:

Outpatient Therapists will provide person-centered, evidence-based counseling services through telehealth, focusing on helping clients manage symptoms, develop coping skills, and achieve treatment goals. Responsibilities Include:

• Providing individual therapy sessions to adult clients via telehealth.

• Documenting progress and interventions in accordance with Medicaid/MCO standards.

• Coordinating care and communicating with multidisciplinary team members as needed.

• Maintaining compliance with confidentiality, ethics, and documentation standards.

• Participating in team meetings, supervision, or professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT , or Resident in Counseling/Social Work under approved supervision.

• Masters Degree

• Proof of professional liability and Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance is required.

• Must successfully pass a background check prior to contracting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to maintain timely documentation.

• Effective time management, professionalism, and flexibility in a telehealth setting.

• Experience working with diverse populations and commitment to person-centered care.

Position Details:

• Position Type: 1099 Contract (Flexible Schedule)

• Caseload: Minimum of 10 clients per week

• Compensation: Competitive rate with bonus opportunities

• Setting: 100% Telehealth (with potential in-person options in future)

• Credentialing: Medicaid and MCO credentialing support provided
